Mechanical Designer (Solidworks) – Contract position
Atomic Talent are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Designer to work alongside an industry leading organisation, based in Lancashire, working on major projects in the Nuclear sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with an understanding of the design of Mechanical handling systems, or similar, to work with a team of talented Mechanical Design Engineers delivering full lifecycle design packages for bespoke, and high value, engineering projects in highly challenging nuclear environments.
The contract
Your focus will be to deliver an exceptional level of quality design through your own personal expertise, solid stakeholder management and the provision of expert advice to the client team, their clients and sub-contractors. The contract requires the use of Solidworks with an exceptional attention to detail and the ability to produce high quality design for manufacture.
About you
Due to the nature of the work, the contract ideally requires someone who is HNC/D qualified or recognised as SQEP through experience, you will already be providing services in a highly regulated industry and be experienced working on large, multi-discipline projects. Exposure to Project Engineering is an advantage.
